Privacy Statement

This statement is intended for the customers and/or suppliers of LMCG. LMCG is the publisher of ZwembadBranche and also organizes various events and gatherings, including the ZwembadBranche Congress and the ZwembadBranche Dag. This statement provides further details on how LMCG handles the personal data you provide. “Personal data” refers to information that identifies or could identify a natural person. A piece of data can quickly be classified as personal data and may become personal data when combined with other data. Examples of personal data include: name and address details, email addresses, IP addresses, and phone numbers.

LMCG would like to draw your attention to the fact that the personal data you provide to us is collected and used because it is necessary to enter into and perform any agreement with you. This applies both to our (potential) customers and to parties from whom we purchase goods and/or services.

Without this information, it would be impossible to send you a quote, determine the specifications or requirements that a particular service must meet, perform the work, issue invoices, process payments, and communicate with you smoothly and efficiently regarding the implementation of the agreement.

You are not required to provide us with your personal data. However, if you do not provide us with any personal data, or if the data you provide is insufficient, we may not be able to carry out the activities mentioned above.

Disclosure to third parties

In connection with the performance of the agreement, we may need to disclose your personal data to third parties who perform work on our behalf. In addition, we use external server space to store (parts of) our sales and purchasing records, which include your personal data. For this reason, your personal data is provided to our server space provider. Finally, because we use a newsletter mailing service, your personal data is shared with the provider of this service.

Direct marketing

If you have given us your consent, we will store and use the personal data you have provided to personally notify you via email in the future about our existing and new services and, if applicable, to send you an offer. Every time we send you a mailing, you have the option to let us know that you no longer wish to receive them. Please see the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each mailing.

Retention period for personal data

  • If you have not become a customer (or we have not become your customer), your personal data will be deleted no later than twelve months after our last contact.
  • If you have become a customer (or we have become your customer), we will retain your personal data for a period of seven years following the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. This seven-year period corresponds to the period during which we are required to retain our records for the tax authorities. At the end of this period, we will delete your personal data.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • to view and/or obtain your own personal data
  • to correct your personal data (or have it corrected) if it contains inaccuracies
  • to have your personal data erased or to restrict its use
  • by us transferring your personal data to a third party.

Would you like to stop receiving ZwembadBranche and/or our mailings from us? Please let us know at zwembadbranche.nl/vergeet-me. You can indicate whether you no longer wish to receive the magazine and/or the newsletters. We will then remove your information from our mailing list and will no longer send you our magazine or email you the newsletters.

Objection
